The safety of your loved ones is important to Mister Judy. We do not produce products containing lead or phthalates.
In compliance with Section 102 of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, which states:
"shall certify, based on a test of each product or
upon a reasonable testing program, that such product complies
with all rules, bans, standards, or regulations
applicable to the product under this Act or any other Act
enforced by the Commission;"
We are in the process of documenting that all components used in our products meet the following safety requirements:
Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, Section 108
(a) PROHIBITION ON THE SALE OF CERTAIN PRODUCTS CONTAINING
PHTHALATES.--Beginning on the date that is 180 days
after the date of enactment of this Act, it shall be unlawful for
any person to manufacture for sale, offer for sale, distribute in
commerce, or import into the United States any children’s toy
or child care article that contains concentrations of more than
0.1 percent of di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), dibutyl phthalate
(DBP), or benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP).
Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, Section 101
GENERAL LEAD BAN.--
(1) TREATMENT AS A BANNED HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE.--
Except as expressly provided in subsection (b) beginning on
the dates provided in paragraph (2), any children’s product
(as defined in section 3(a)(16) of the Consumer Product Safety
Act (15 U.S.C. 2052(a)(16))) that contains more lead than the
limit established by paragraph (2) shall be treated as a banned
hazardous substance under the Federal Hazardous Substances
Act (15 U.S.C. 1261 et seq.).
